Windows Vista – Upgrade Is it worth it?

I decided to buy Windows Vista Home Premium for a reason and that is due to the improved parental controls. I have a problem where my son spends so much time on the computer, began losing their social skills. Not to mention the fact that once I go to bed, gets up and starts to play on the PC until 3 or 4 in the morning.

Thus, increased parental controls in Windows Vista I really liked, especially tests of time. Here You can assign slots for each account. Windows Mail is much better. Basically Microsoft has taken and integrated Outlook right there in Windows Vista. Mail can be checked with a simple click of a button. The functionality of Windows Mail scimped not been on, with 99% of the features perspectives available on the calendar, ie, tasks, etc ..

Windows Explorer has changed substantially and so easy to find the files you are looking for. As to drill through the directories, a link to each directory / subdirectory is displayed above the main window to come to the simplified. As the use / space free on each disk is displayed in a bar above the drive letters as a progress bar when downloading something on the web. My Documents, My Pictures, My Music Now there is a clear relationship to short-cut in the top of the browser window, allowing you to find media files. Other updates include Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker Windows DVD Maker Windows Meeting Space, Sync Center, ergonomics, and some new big games. I have not had the chance to play with these new additions, however, with the exception of a few games of mah-jong, but on the surface, they are really good.

The control panel is an area that Microsoft really Because has improved things, everything is now organized more judiciously in different categories, namely, security, system and update user accounts, appearance and customization, network and Internet, etc. ..

Perhaps the biggest addition the Media Center. This lets you view all your photos, videos and other on your desktop or a connected TV. You can also watch, pause and record live TV if you have a TV tuner on your machine.

Am a gadget freak and I love everything new. So when you went out and bought XP now Vista. I must say that Vista is certainly an improvement on XP. Everything about the system is much more stable OS and is packed with utilities and gadgets.

Is it a good investment? Absolutely!
