Apple iPod touch – not for commercial use, needs WiFi works well, the bad W / Windows 7

I have a new desktop in Windows 7 and expect to replace an aging Windows PDA with something newer and more reliable. I need a calendar, task list and contact list and we have to keep synchronized with my PC. I guess the music and video would be a nice bonus.

In fact, the iPod does well with Windows 7, and found that I needed wireless connectivity (WiFi broadband not …) To fully utilize all the features. I suppose I could transfer the information by connecting USB is not true. I wish I had known that the only way to transfer information via WiFi was, I never think of buying this unit.

My The problems began with the installation. Only recognize the Apple iPod touch less than half time after being connected, iTunes reinstallation necessary disposal multiple drivers and resettlement, and the process stops working. Each puzzle. It is very different Windows PDA to communicate with the entire network "connected to the USB port, WiFi and also have to navigate the Web. If you do not have WiFi (not just broadband WiFi …) where you will use, or frequently WiFi access, it is not worth buying this way.

In addition, the USB connector is fragile, I saw it breaks after 6 months of use.
I have never used a helmet I can not comment.

What's good:
Device software looked good, there is no close or reset.

What is bad:
Play-N t is well with Windows 7, and multiple synchronization errors "can not connect" errors.
WiFi-Need to update the applications, integrated the use of cardboard, and weather patterns, and synchronize with the Web-based software (eg, homework in Toodle for example).
In short words: I was hoping that would be my new PDA, but is not appropriate for commercial use unless you have WiFi access, and if you do not use Windows 7 team.
