PS3 – The Lexus of game consoles

I can not speak specifically to the concert FRO 80, but I know what are the differences in hardware and I can not answer.

The most important thing is the games. At first was difficult to make a case for the Playstation exclusive with so little, but now most of the main results of others are multi-platform and the PS3 also has with exclusive and the number 360. If you can not live without Halo or Gears of War, the PS3 I can not help as much as 360 I can not help with Little Big Planet or Metal Gear Solid 4. I noticed that some games look better in the 360, but the difference is really insignificant, and I feel the other benefits far outweigh this.

Some title = "PS3 consoles> PS3 games, I recommend Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Warhawk, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

As for downloadable games, there are titles really innovative company. PixelJunk Monsters is as addictive as the games are tower defense, but also very beautiful and fascinating. If you have a good 1080p HDTV, you will appreciate the complexities of such a simple game. Echochrome is a puzzle game really innovative. Also I like the creature feature functioning as a good game for friends who are less in games. There are many others, and nearly everyone has a free demo so you can try.

These downloads are available on the PlayStation Network, which is the main component of the PS3 line. Before the PS3 I'd never done online gaming, my computer was too slow and I did not want to pay the fees online or additional devices. The PS3 really makes it easy to connect to PSN. I just put the wifi to connect my router (all current models of PS3 have built in Wi-Fi) and since it is free, I have not hesitated to sign. I know that most people talk about being less PSN to Xbox Live, I do not know what might ask, I can play games online, create a list of contacts, send messages and photos, chat with or without video, download movies, demos, trailers and full games. I do not care really participate in social networks through my console games, but if you want the house far behind the PlayStation is expected to provide a virtual space meet and chat in 3D avatars. My only complaint with the PSN, is that download speed is slow.

All features unrelated to the game are accessible through xrossmedia bar that is extremely easy and intuitive to use.

Now, for the media connectivity communication. It's awesome! The model I have is with a card reader, but with new models, you can buy the PS3 Media Hub +, which not only add 2 ports USB, but also a memory card reader. I always use the PS3 to display family photos and slide shows, is quick and easy to use and can rotate and zoom on the fly. It is equally easy to watch movies from your digital camera and listen to MP3 files from a CD or flash drive is reinforced with a large audience.

The PS3 is pretty lenient with the devices, I have a Mac keyboard plugged in and a Jabra Bluetooth headset. The hard disk can be removed from one of the whole society to good size. The system itself guides you through the process of change. the driver is the same design with a large button added Playstation 2 at home, and R2 and L2 triggers. I recently purchased RealTriggers helps, but I used it for a year and a half without one.

I can not say enough about how awesome Blu-ray. I've heard a lot of people talking about movies upscaled be as good, but if you find a Blu-ray 1080p screen, you can see the difference. The image is so crisp and clear, even the sound is much better. The Jump to image quality is gaping. I particularly recommend the transformers, 300, Casino Royale, Spiderman 3, Planet Earth, and Sunshine [Blu-ray] to the great films of the current capacity of Blu-ray. That said, the PS3 consoles Highlight DVD is also good. If you played a DVD on a PS2, the controls are the same. Fast forward, rewind, skip, play, stop, you can easily reach, no shame there are only dedicated top button menu.

In general, this system is great. A little pricey but totally worth it (especially when compared with 360 plus the price has been added tax online and legacy devices too expensive). An essential part of any system of modern home theater.

Update your hard disk:
I installed the hard drive of my PS3 from 60 to 250 concerts. Could not be easier. I bought a Seagate Momentus 5400.4 ST9250827AS – Hard drive – 250 GB – internal – 2.5 "- SATA-300 – 5400 rpm – buffer: 8 MB Seagate chose it because the price of the PS3 and it has a default value of Seagate, but all brands do. C-Net has a step-by-step details on the swap disk. Except for backup and restore my data (I used a separate external hard drive) the exchange process took less than 10 minutes.

Now I'm downloading PSN games at their discretion and not have to worry about running out of space.

an interesting side note, you can use any external hard drive is formatted FAT32.

I liked both titles but resistance wasn't for me. There are way better shooters out there (cod4) but resistance beats halo 3 any day. I suggest you get warhawk I enjoyed far more than resistance.

    Nice! I love your intro/ending!

    Ignoring Professional ($2000+) equipment.

For the best resolution you will need an HDMI capture card, and I am not aware of any for a laptop.
You can get adapters for PCI express to express card which would enable your laptop to connect a capture card.

For a lower resolution capture you can get an analog to DV converter, this would connect to your firewire port on your mac.

There are plenty of freeware encoders that will allow you to compress the video after capture.
