You can also find some bargains at the pawn shop that GameStop and EB Games is much more realistic. Another option is to go to flea markets and sometimes you can get new games out there are about 20-40 U.S. dollars (never opened).

As far as I know, they have a used section and a new section for all the games for each type of system. If you pick up a game on the shelf, they will give you the actual game at the counter (for the used games). I know that when you sell them back a game you don't want, they will give you very little for it and then sell it for double or triple what they just gave you for it. If you have a GameStop card and you buy or sell games, they will give you discounts on used games and increase the value of what they will pay you for your games. You should always ask, though, if it is new or not, and if you can get it used, then why not? You will save money and if you don't even plan on keeping it, just return it and get some sort of money back for it. But I think maybe that person made a mistake or something and you should have questioned them on it, because even though it was $5 more, you paid for a new one and that is what you should have gotten.
