If I use a USB Ethernet Converter with my laptop that I can connect my Xbox through my laptop wireles?
Usually Adapting to get to my wireless network wireless routers on the ground, but the IM in the basement, it will work in theory? or any other suggestions would be very appericated.
It is a fairly simple process. If your laptop connected to the Internet via a wireless connection, connect your Xbox 360 to your laptop through an Ethernet cable. After adjsuting some settings on your laptop, Xbox 360 should be able to use the laptop Ineternet connection. There are a variety guides available online. Step 2: Make sure you are logged in as administrator on the computer. Step 3: Go to Control Panel and double-click Network Connections. Step 4: Select wired network connection. (One of them is conencted to your Xbox, not the wireless Internet) Step 5: Click the Advanced tab, check "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection. "OK. On Xbox 360 ** ** Step 1: Turn on and connect to Xbox Live is may need to refresh netowrk connections on your laptop, or restart the latop. The router may also have specific things to avoid that, but each router is unique. If you have problems after this point will have to consult other troubleshooting guides.
