If you could choose a horse past or present that deserves to be the racing legend ultimately who and why?

Throughout history of some race horses have become legends in their own name or the biggest winner of races in impressive fashion, or the huge number of victories, and some horses become legends just to compete at a high level of a very long period, and win many fans. When a horse race heats up the heart of a nation something big actually happens and a real sense of "success" can be placed on the popular imagination. I always remember "sense of hope Persian Punch I have gained by observing how simple determination and resilience can not prevail.

I think all fans of racing has its own personal list of "legends." It's fun to discuss and talk about the horses that we feel we've earned the right to be acclaimed by their fans, each has different criteria, and the generation of generation, there are different heroes. My personal list of horses that I think deserves to be called "Legends": 1. Man O'War. Its dominant against opponents who illustrated his career against the addition superiority, many pilots who had the opportunity to watch the race and has been compared to the more champions later he was hailed as the best ever. I think his performance on beam, where the increase for the mares as a group were incredibly poor, the validation of their superiority. True, it requires a horse that has the strength, endurance and ability to run two and jump, and a great value. Red Rum record in this race seems unlikely to be improved. How can a horse that has done what can not be considered a legend? A plenty of other good horses you could argue they deserve to be regarded as legends: Kelso, Secretariat, Makybe Diva, Brigadier Gerard, Dahlia, France Go, Nijinsky. And much more. But I think that the three pieces that I have beyond the discussion when it comes to legendary status.
