What was the year 1763 a turning point for the American colonies?
What were the differences between the colonies before 1763 and how it has lead to a turning point?
a little long … before 1763, the colonists had greater freedom British cousin did not pay much attention to them and the laws were loosely enforced (the period known as negligence healthy.) But in 1763, after seven years of war, victory British, the British decided to put more powerful and tighter control over the colonies of degrading and unjust laws and taxes and quartering act like sugar and hardening of the laws of navigation. Worse, any members of Parliament have been colonies, if the colonists were taxed without representation. This made settlers feel like they werent notified of their fundamental rights as the English, leading to riots and the Boston Tea Party and the formation of a son of liberty. It marked a turning point because these events led to the War of Independence

Fantagraphics to release collection of Flannery O’ Connor cartoons
While a college student, O’Connor filled her notebooks with drawings and cartoons and comic strips, some of which she submitted to The New Yorker. Later this year Fantagraphic Books will release Flannery O’ Connor: The Cartoons, a posthumous collection of the author’s graphic work. O’Connor’s funny drawings are distinguished both by the author’s morbid sense of humor and surprisingly sharp and memorable visual sense. Nearly a half-century after her death, O’Connor continues to surprise.
