Broghton Disco Revenge – sound and light installation
Located in the heart of Brighton, United Kingdom, Night of Vengeance Club is one of the main attractions of the south coastal environment. With an ongoing project of rebuilding the club, Showtec was contacted to design a new lighting system for the Society of the box on the second floor. The system should be something that could make the place stand out from its competitors by offering something never before seen in the region.
The first idea proposed was to get rid of the dj existing box from the corner of the room and move toward the center of the wall later. In this way, we could create a focal point has focused on the DJ or performer. From this we designed a roof LEDs that raises the wall behind the DJ and run by the ceiling above the dance floor, with a total area of 36 square meters. This is then supplemented by a series of LEDs mounted on the sides struggle, this was designed to surround guests with moving light.
The first task was to move the area of the new DJ position. Our team of electrical engineers and remove the electrical panel existing in the dj box with all cables from the sound system to be reused. They were defeated then under the floor of the new position if the old box could be dismantled. By the construction of the new dj box larger than the existing unit, we let the control room to house the lighting system and new boxes required driver LED systems.
Once the DJ box has been built on the roof of the building began. For best results, a false ceiling was built to compensate for the uneven surface the existing ceiling. We also give a smooth surface to secure wooden LEDs. Once the roof was finished, the space for LED is drawn, and holders of node LEDs have been screwed. It was decided that the lights were spaced 100 mm in length and 200 mm wide shoulders. It gave us a resolution higher than the standard distance of 200 mm, we have used before, allowing high quality reproduction and visual graphics.
For the lights, it was decided Use iColour Flex SLX Color Kinetics Philips line. These units offer high brightness at a reasonable cost, with various options in space and lentils. Using glass clear, we could produce more "industrial" feel the overall effect. A total of 36 channels of 50 LEDs have been used over the area of 9m x 4m, giving us 1800 Individually controlled LEDs. These diodes were driven with 5 SPD 480ca Color Kinetics controller in a rack-mounted boxes in the new DJ box.
To add the effect of the roof, a series of LEDs are 1200mm long struggle on the side effects of lead on the walls of lighting. With the new version 5 Ecue software, we were able to directly connect Driver Philips boxes using the protocol Kinet. This allowed us to reduce the amount of output devices DMX required, keeping costs to a minimum. The computer running Ecue was equipped with two network cards, one to run the network for the drivers Kinet roof the other to run the network for output ArtNet DMX devices to run the control and MX-4. Butler Ecue two silver were used for DMX output, each of which performs two worlds. A total 16 DMX universes were created to manage all necessary channels.

Once all equipment has been installed, the floor has been sanded and varnished new collars have been installed around the club to complete the installation and give the room a finishing touch finish. Two solid programming later, and completed the effect looks awesome! The ceiling and walls give the impression of being surrounded by light, guests really immersed in the experience. The DJ box offers a new center care, emphasizing the importance of the DJ and the music.
In general, the final system is truly unique and has created great expectations real nightlife in Brighton.

When using 'players' (tape, cd, Mp3) through your radio, have the volume on it right under half-way. This will get rid of some of the 'scratchyness'.
The cable you will need for this has headphone-type jacks on each end. One goes into the output on your Mp3 player (or 'line-out', whatever is has) and the other goes right in the front of your car stereo. You will need to select the 'AUX' as the source.

Nowadays Mac's and PC's are made from the same parts. Main difference being that the Mac costs more. Besides, you can use the Mac OS on your PC if you use something like Empire EFI.
First measure how wide you can go with the seat where you want it from the back of the seat to the rear cab portion. Then look into a truck box with 2 12's or 10's. You can also make your own box out of particle board to custom fit.
The only thing is then you have to measure the mounting dept of the subwoofers to make sure the magnets fit inside without hitting the back of the box.
