Is it permissible to use a bag / box of an acoustic guitar or is it better to use a hard case?
As others have said, a difficult case is your best option to keep the guitar safe from dents, scratches and breaks – especially if you take it out of the house to play regularly. If you ride a bicycle, and it is their only means of transport, a cover would be best for you.
