Cleaning Your Nintendo NES and other old video games and systems
Remember that these games have been sitting around collecting more than 20 years of the earth. To insert into the system the metal connectors of the game has to touch the metal connectors in the system. If there is dirt in means no connection. You must remove all dirt from the game and then held, as it was in 1985.
Moisten a cotton swab in alcohol and rub metal contacts on the cartridge wet dirty. Then use the dry part of the Q-Tip and rub until you remove all dust. You may have to do it several times and go through several Q-tips until all the dirt. Want to repeat this step until the Q-tip is clean after cleaning. Now that your game is clean, we can quickly clean the system using the fair play. Just take the game and put it in the system and remove it. Playing clean and repeat. Each time you take the dirt from the chip and transfer system your game to be cleaned. After that, you should not have problems. Your system and games shopuld be working well.

- Remove the screws on the bottom of the system.
- Turn off the computer and remove the plastic cap.
- Remove the screws holding the RF metal shield and remove the screen.
- Remove the screws holding the cartridge holder black plastic. Notice how the tab small plastic front slide bracket below the motherboard. Slide the front and end (if the motherboard bends slightly).
- Lift the back of the motherboard and remove all the contacts in the black plastic housing. (They resist a bit but is sufficient for forward and backward to remove.)
- Sell Dip a toothbrush (preferably using a relative) in the cleaning solution and washing of contacts.
- : Clean with water and let dry.
- Lift the back of the motherboard and drag the contacts back in place.
- Levant the front of the motherboard and slide the cartridge contacts. Make sure the tab on the front of the downstairs door clips on the motherboard.
- Replace the cartridge mounting screws. (Long jump in the second series of holes in the back.)
- Connect the system and test cartridges cleaning. (It is perfectly safe to do so with the top off.)
- If the games do not work, the system contacts may be out of shape.
- If the system works properly, replace the cover (you can leave the RF shield off if you like, I will not tell the FCC) and replace the screws on the bottom.

This is true. After 24 hours a virus will be activated by the program which will ultimately short circuit your hardware and make your PC catch on fire. This will even happen if it's turned off, strangely enough, so if you're not at home you might come "home" to some burnt bricks.
