Conclusion: Fans of "The Simpsons" may be disappointed that this movie does not hit the high water mark at the beginning of watch the TV series, but as an independent film, it's always very funny and entertaining that gives people who never watched the show an easy entry into the Simpson World.
THE GOOD: Being an old fan of The Simpsons, because all the favorite characters on the big screen was very exciting, especially once the song starts after the main title. The first 30 minutes is pure gold, returning to the season 8.3 on the television series was in its perfect. The rest of the film loses some steam after that, but still very fun and full of great character moments, including a moving scene, where bands margin on their wedding video to the point that Homer has failed so badly that actually do something that no new law, which of course it does, in the graceful, very silly, stupid, we all learned to know and love. Homer and Bart DARE competition is hilarious, and little Ralph was one of the best lines in the film. The good thing about this film The Simpsons is that it captures perfectly (ie, have not screwed with anything to give the "film processing"). This is not surprising because most people who worked on it are used Simpson and clearly shown in the first half of the film.
THE BAD: At Once the land of clicks with the Environmental Protection Agency to install a dome over the whole of Springfield to protect the rest of the United States for pollutants from Springfield, the film loses steam and starts to remember the TV show after Season 11. One could argue that the film is a perfect vision television series, covering all the bases of the season 3 of what they are, so far. The Simpsons is the funniest with his spirit and satirical humor intelligent. Unfortunately, these being traded to the side gags and slapstick film takes place in is a shame because the movie actually starts with a bang. This is not all bad, but Simpsons fans will be disappointed. Oh and another thing but had a great line, why the hell was not Mr. Burns villain in this movie instead of being relegated to a single scene?

I am one of only about 20 people in the entire civilized world who has never, ever, ever watched "The Simpsons."
And with storylines such as that, I am apparently not missing very much.
