buying a Japanese PS2. Need help?
ok so I did some research on getting a Japanese PS2 so I can play. PlayStation2 Console Charcoal Black * * Power Cord 100-240V (UK) * AV Cable * Drive Dual Shock 2 * Instructions are the elements of the box if I had to buy one. I live in the U.S. and wondered if the tension is good because it says UK plug to his side. Is it a Japanese version for the UK? or need a converter? any help is appreciated.
Japan uses 100V outlet and the U.S. uses 120V taken. The Hz may be different. In any case, You need a converter box regardless of the region PS2 I do not believe there is a universal power supply as the PS3 has. In addition, you will not be able to play American games, unless you have a mod chip installed in your motherobard. Unless you think you can play Japanese games.
