How to diagnose a computer LCD screen or black

I doubt it. If Apple is going to do the repair, they're going to use their tools and parts. It doesn't cost anything to ask them though.

y waste money i use a wet cloth and dry cloth to clean and stay clean u can also use window cleaner just make sure its not the kind that feels oily cause then ur computer go crazy make sure u turn of ur screen first cause then the pixels ccan be damaged

I own a cell phone shop that does repairs. I recommend buying the lens with the digitizer. Buying just the lens is cheaper, but it is useless unless you have the time and energy to peel off the first layer glass without damaging your original digitizer. The digitizer is the thicker, half of the top screen half. It's functionality is the most critical part of the half.
Buy the lens with the digitizer. You'll save money in the long run.
