From cell phones that serve as digital camcorders Sony Playstation Portable video game systems that are also GPS trackers, everything seems to have more than one function these days. It could simply be a byproduct of the technological advances made in the past two decades. We are now able to create devices that can do two completely different things. Or, it could be a symptom of our society lack the time. We're so busy they need equipment and items that can be further of a function. Whatever the reason may be, we now live in a time where anything we use has a singular purpose.
Whether you buy new or refurbished electronic devices, are sure to find something that is really more of its parts. Now we have home video game systems, as Microsoft's Xbox 360 can access the Internet and open a new world of games and access to media. Whereas before these technologies could be considered out the realm of possibility, it is now accepted as normal in the ultra-connected world of today. It really is a world where no matter if you buy the trademark for new electronics retailer or refurbished, everything seems to be more than it seems.
Take a look at something like the Apple iPod. When he was released, it was a unique and revolutionary itself. It changed the way the world listened to music. Now you add the ability to play movies, videos and photos, and now the Apple iPod Nano is a multifaceted and can do much more that people feel they simply must have. Now it's very rare that people choose to purchase an item that can not perform a task. For example, the PSP Sony is a great portable and handheld video game. The original inFamous was a wonderful game that took a look at what might happen if a normal person was gifted with superhuman powers. Would they use those powers for good, or evil? The second game in the series looks like it will expand upon those ideas in many ways, and at the 2011 Game Developers Conference, Sucker Punch unveiled a huge selling point for the game: players will be able to create their own levels and share them with the world.
You’ll be able to test drive this new feature sooner than you think, as a public beta is coming this April, and the best levels created during this beta will be available when the game is released on June 7 for the PlayStation 3. We were able to speak with Chris Zimmerman, the development director of Sucker Punch, about this new feature.
