Can anyone provide a good resource for learning to program a microcontroller PIC16F84A C?
I'm new to microcontrollers and I look forward learn how to program a PIC16F84A chip using C. I am having trouble finding any online resource on programming my chip.
I think the documentation PIC of a little hard to find, but complete and well written. Poke around the Microchip website to find it. Start here: http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en534868 The link several C compilers Hi-Tech C compilers 16 support the family, work very well with the IDE. The first came with 2 or 3 PIC programmer, PICSTART-like you. Always you can download the free Lite version docs. By the way, I think Hi-Tech PIC bought last year. Good luck.
