The purpose of this article is to respond to technological innovation brought about by the Michigan solar car team for the automotive industry. This project has been successfully attacked by a few hundred brightest students from Michigan and the authors 300.

A word about solar car racing.

World Solar Challenge was founded by Hans Tholstrup in 1987. It takes place in Australia and started in northern Australia to Darwin and Adelaide in the South, about 1,800 miles of racing. Race Results: three third places. The North American Solar Challenge race was founded by GM 1989. Its length from the beginning to the end of 2500 miles. The race route begins in Dallas, Texas and ending in Calgary, Alberta. Race Results: 5 Championships national.
