Sometimes stories just come to catch my interest. I learned public television, the goats are to study for the control of Kudzu, Kentucky. The University of Kentucky is the study of the effects of grazing goats kudzu infested areas to see how many goats per hectare is required for the eradication of kudzu kudzu or grazing for sustainable production of goat meat. Studies have been completed at NCSU which also included grazing gained in the study. Cattle seem to help with some other invasive plants, but for now, the goats were the best for the control of Kudzu.

The advantage to the farmer attempts to recover the land is easy fodder Kudzu goats and goat meat is now in great demand. With the influx of immigrant populations on both coasts, meat goat faces a lawsuit, twice the current bid. This is a win-win situation for the farmer, Kudzu control using goats that he or she can sell profit. That eliminates the Kudzu plant breeders, then sell all or goats trying to maintain a sustainable grazing herd is the choice of farmers. The cost to be thinking is the cost for fencing.

Goats need a guide who can not escape, such as fabric or mesh. If you are in an area where wild predators, you need a barn or a speaker that can keep the goats at night and protect stray dogs too. The cost of adding a new fence would seem to support more properly, with the idea sustainable forage. The farmer could get a permanent income from the production of herds of goats with the cost of food to keep goats.

I like to hear about research and ideas that are sustainable and environmentally friendly. When we are able to do something that simultaneously addresses two needs I say let's do it! Fighting Kudzu and satisfy the need for more goat meat, a win win for farmers. All I have to say is that please take the boy.
