What is the best Xbox game for a girl of seven years?
I am doing family in need and this girl asked to the Xbox. What I need to consider.
From this, I can not say if she has regular Xbox or Xbox 360, so I will give suggestions for both:) for Xbox regular basis, you can try something like The Sims, Fuzion Frenzy, Chronicles of Narnia, Intellevision saw or Namco Museum. If she is tomboy-ish, you might also consider Need for Speed some racing games or games like Call of Duty military. For the Xbox 360, would probably think: Kameo, Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged, Lego Star Wars, Sonic, cars, Crash of the Titans. Both systems have the following games a 7 year old daughter would like: Thrillville, Tetris, Marvel Ultimate Alliance (there are superheroes female in this game), while the Dragon Spyro game or any other video game is rated "E" Hope this helps!

I would question whether you really need a degree in game development to work at a gaming company. Strongly question.
I would stick to a straight major, and then you are marketable to more than a niche. A talented software writer can get a job at any software company, a talented game designer is pigeonholed to game development.
