when i connect an Ethernet cable into the wireless router, I began to disconnect?
I have problems with my Linksys Wireless router. I have 2 PC, laptop, 2 and Xbox. All is well when all wireless. But I just received one of the Xbox, and I want to buy the wireless adapter for it, so I just used an Ethernet cable. But now I have disconnections of wireless and wired. Suggestions?
Check your settings IP on their machines if they overlap IP addresses, and sometimes can be disconnected at times especially with wireless devices to acquire an address dynamically IP

lol, the 98 machine probably does not have a ethernet port. That is a dialup modem port you are trying to plug the ethernet cable into, not a ethernet port.
