Easiest way i found to beat him is actually kinda cheap but it works.
Go a little past clock tower and hit all candles til you get stop watch. Freeze time when clone comes out. He'll be frozen beat the living hell outta him til he dies. Rinse and Recycle if needed but you shouldn't have to :]
