Umbilical cord blood – The Future of Medicine

If you remember your biology class, remember that cells are the basic units that make up the body. Although most cells have a specific purpose (for example, heart cells that merge to form the heart, or cells kidney that combine to form a kidney), there are others, such as stem cells that have the ability to adjust and adapt itself to other cells to promote growth and health, and some cells throughout the body.
