XBOX 360 error: play this disc, put it in a Xbox 360?
I just bought an Xbox 360 on eBay and whenver I put a game console, I get the error message that says: To read the disc, put it in a Xbox 360. I have tested the console and play very many DVD. Does anyone know what the problem?
I would say the disk is dying, but the fact that plays DVDs is very … odd. I first check the disk status is acceptable and you are not using pirated games or games from the system wrong (well, people …). Otherwise, I would almost think that someone tried to softmod the 360 and is screwed, just enough to kill authentication but not enough to drive brick. Anyway, if the disc is then it's a bad drive. Try to return to the seller, and if he does not take PayPal report, the refusal to reimburse a DOA.
