What would make you think that it would be the AV cable? I'm just asking because that seems like a strange thing to consider.
I don't think much (if any) information gets transferred back to the console thru the AV cable, but I am also speaking out of my butt so take that with a grain of salt. If the AV cable is cheap enough and you _really_ think that may be the problem then go for it, but I dunno… that seems odd to me.
