In simple terms, a cheat device is a type of device, usually a disc cartridge designed for the sole purpose of assisting a game player Video trap. These devices allow the user to enter cheat codes special handling a game outside the parameters of the original schedule.

Game Shark is the marketing name for the line of cartridges tricks that are available for a variety of game systems, including computers running Windows. Action replay
Created by Datel, Action Replay is a cheat device very popular and is used in most of the world. Action Replay is now available for various game systems, including PlayStation 2, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo 64, and even the Sega Dreamcast. Datel has recently launched a model for the Nintendo DS as well. Over the years, Datel has received several complaints from the gaming world in their products.

Code Breaker
The code breaker appeared on the Sega Dreamcast and was developed by Pelican Accessories. Marketed under the Xploder PAL regions of the world, the code breaker and Xploder systems are available for Playstation 2 and Game Boy Advance. With new versions of the PS2, codes can be downloaded from a USB flash drive or write with a USB keyboard. The code breaker is a good system of cheating, but to find compatible codes with it can be a bit difficult.
