What is SCSI terminator card right?
The Adaptec 39320A? There are two ports on the back. The ports are women, and seem to have search a cartridge line down the middle, as opposed to a lot of small holes. Furthermore, it seems 68 copper contacts on the periphery of the slot .. There SCSI Ultra 320 mega and I just want to correct. Anyone know what it is?
Based on the model number, I will venture to guess that you I have this card for a Dell PowerEdge server, or something like that. Am I close? In any case, the SCSI terminator must be asymmetrical. But termination is only required if SCSI devices actually connected to the card. no need for a terminator on the card. determine the type of single-ended termination must be given by the type of physical interface on the last external SCSI device on the SCSI bus. without knowing what the current system is that I can not say more than that. Another thing to consider is these days, some devices that do not even need a physical terminator attached, as they can be integrated termination and automatic termination (). Consult the device documentation for more information and to confirm if this functionality is available. well I use a pair of channel locks and grab the brass stem and pry against the body part that holds the cartridge. First though a couple things be sure to turn your water to the faucet off and be sure you have pulled the fork type pin holding it in.
If it is twenty years old the cartridge body is probably brass and it has almost bonded it self together.
If you look at the top of your cartridge you will see there are 2 places opposite of each there that is taller than the rest of the top part. You need to try and get the cartridge to move. screwdriver and a hammer softly tapping. You may take a pair of needle nose pliers and put them inside the cartridge holding part of the faucet and try to get the cartridge to move that way.
It will come out but the key thing is get the cartridge to move. And also once you commit to it go ahead and get your replacement cartridge ready to put in.
I have installed 1000's of moen and worked on few ( 50 to 100 in 30 years and that is why they are good enough to last 20 years.
