Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Season Preview 2009

2009 Toronto Blue Jays, say, odd. With a mix of established players, veterans Hill, young stars and a legitimate list has a bit of everything. Now, this mixture will be enough to win its first appearance in Toronto since 1993 MLB playoffs?

Rotation

The rotation has had its fair share of injuries in the past year. Shaun Marcum starting front line of product and McGowan will be more likely to miss the entire season. The number two starter AJ Burnett was attracted $ 100 million to join the New York Yankees. Even lesions behind the pitching options and Casey Jannsen have suffered. That leaves Blue Jays with a mix of veterans and youth in the rotation. The number one is the former head of the American League Cy Young winner (and runners-up in 2008), Roy Halladay. After him will be David Purcey and Jesse Litschi. Rounding out the rotation is Scott Richmond and Ricky Romero. Even with the injury is a strong staff.

Bullpen

The bullpen is stored. Some say there are good pitchers in the bullpen too. The farm is BJ Ryan, Brandon League and Jeremy Accardo but
Both are very capable of filling the closer role in baseball. Left-handed pitcher Scott Downs is the pitcher to move the pen. Rounding things are Jesse Carlson and others. The Blue Jays apparently can take any pitcher and bullpen in one hand. The pitching is no doubt the strength of the club.

Crime

The offense is a mixture of former All Stars and youth. Scott Rolen, Vernon Wells and Alex Rios were all appearances of stars in the past. Rivers would probably be considered the strongest hitter Jays, followed by Wells. Playing left-handed first baseman Lyle Overbay. The second is the return Aaron Hill. Hill missed most of the 2008 season due to injury. Marco Scutaro will play short and can play virtually anywhere on the diamond. Scott Rolen is of course the third. The gardens are young people who have spoken, Adam Lind and Travis Snider. Both are left-handed power hitters who can hit a person in the park or delete at any time. The Blue Jays have four outfielders in reality, Lind, Snider, Wells and Rios, if one of them will have to hit in the role of designated hitter from time to time (Most likely Lind or Snider). Rod Barajas behind the plate, although a young prospect in the minor league system called JP Arencibia is rapidly approaching the majors. The Blue Jays run a secular "and pray for" offense is based on walks, doubles and circuits. Under the Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston tried the least amount stolen base one of the biggest club in the second half of last season.

Is the Blue Jays in 2009 be able to find success? The AL is undoubtedly difficult, but many baseball experts will tell you that pitching wins championships. With probably the best overall pitching AL Blue Jays a chance to surprise the experts and fans in 2009.
