The Sailors are particularly attracted to the island due to the diversity of its coast, the dunes of the Costa Verde emerald coves and cliffs of Cala Gonone, no stretch is the same as the other.

There are two winds in Sardinia that provide ideal conditions for dynamic sailing: the wind from the Sahara and the Maestrale Chirocco. Mainly Maestrale blows along the coast to the west-northwest to west wind was very powerful.

If you're up to the challenge a good paladin can be the center of a group. With his high charisma fighting ability and healing he can cover several slots. However, not everyone is up to the roleplaying challenge that comes with the class. Strict lawful good requires a LOT of effort to role play (and a good cockney accent) .

If you want a more laid back approach, try a barbarian. My brother played a character for several years that was basically our party leader just because whenever a debate broke out on what we should do… his intelligence 6 barbarian got bored and just did something. (usually something that got us in trouble, but it was never dull around Riot.)

Roll a half dozen characters up and roll them around in your head. See which one springs to life. I've been playing for almost 30 years, but there are about 4 or 5 characters that are the topic of my tales. How long I played them seems less a factor than how alive they were when I generated them. And don't be afraid to add phobias, quirks and such as you go. A character who likes puppies and is afraid of snails, and prefers dwarven ales or elven wines is a lot more fun in the end. Remember to make them more than numbers.
